Core Program

Mentorship
Program

EmpowerHer's main program is the Mentorship Program, where students can apply to one of our workshops and receive free mentorship from our dedicated and highly trained mentors and lecturers.

This program aims to provide Afghan girls with the resources, opportunities, and networks they need to launch their own impact projects.

Through this platform, EmpowerHer encourages students to think outside the box and view their challenges as sources of resilience—life lessons that empower them to pursue their goals and dreams.

EmpowerHer creates a safe, supportive space where students can discuss their struggles openly, feel heard and seen, and reflect on their experiences.

Our Impact

Whether through launching a project, mentoring a sibling or friend, or simply taking a first step, EmpowerHer helps students grow—one story, one action, and one empowered voice at a time.

Join us in empowering the next generation of Afghan leaders and changemakers through our comprehensive mentorship program.

How It Works

Workshop Structure

Every detail is designed to maximize learning, connection, and empowerment.

01

Cycle Duration

Each workshop runs in 6-week cycles (about 1.5 months).

02

Sessions per Week

Workshops meet twice weekly — on Saturdays and Sundays.

03

Session Length

Each session is 2 hours long.

04

Saturday Sessions

Led by assigned mentors. Focused on skill-building, presentations, and guided activities.

05

Sunday Sessions

Dedicated to guest speaker presentations, group discussions, lecturers, and Q&A. Covers themes related to empowerment, leadership, storytelling, and resilience.

06

Workshop Format

Fully virtual via Google Meet. Materials including assignments and other activities are posted through separate Google Classrooms.

07

Participant Limit

08

Mentorship Style

Collaborative and discussion-based, encouraging peer support and active participation. Mentors guide students through both personal reflection and project development.

09

Project-Based Learning

Participants complete capstone or final projects such as creative writing, art, real-world projects, impact proposals, or cultural presentations reflecting what they have learned.
