Mentorship Program

EmpowerHer's main program is the Mentorship Program, where students can apply to one of our workshops and receive a month of free mentorship from our dedicated mentors and lecturers. This program aims to provide Afghan girls with the resources, opportunities, and networks they need to launch their own impact projects.

"Through this platform, EmpowerHer encourages students to think outside the box and view their challenges as sources of resilience—life lessons that empower them to pursue their goals and dreams."

EmpowerHer creates a safe, supportive space where students can discuss their struggles openly, feel heard and seen, and reflect on their experiences.

Our Impact

Whether through launching a project, mentoring a sibling or friend, or simply taking a first step, EmpowerHer helps students grow—one story, one action, and one empowered voice at a time.

Join us in empowering the next generation of Afghan leaders and changemakers through our comprehensive mentorship program.

Sahar Education's Secret Scholars Online Platform (SS0)

EmpowerHer is proud to partner with Sahar Education to provide students with a self-paced learning platform through which our members can independently study Math and English under the supervision of Sahar Education's team. Through this partnership, 25 EmpowerHer members will have access to fully virtual, self-paced classes designed to support their academic growth and personal development.

Additional information will be provided upon acceptance of the students' applications.

Opportunities After Completing EmpowerHer Programs

EmpowerHer is committed to supporting its members even after they complete our mentorship programs. We strive to create a continuous chain of opportunities that not only foster personal growth, but also empower girls to give back to their peers, families, and communities.

Leadership Opportunities
Graduates may be selected as assistant mentors and eventually lead their own workshops. EmpowerHer identifies a limited number of promising students and works closely with them to help launch their own initiatives.
Publication Access
Students may publish their work through HerVoice and our partner platforms.
Continued Engagement
Ongoing involvement in projects, events, and the EmpowerHer community.
Additional information will be shared during our virtual sessions by EmpowerHer mentors.

Monthly Internet Scholarship (MIS)

EmpowerHer provides monthly internet scholarships to twenty-five members to help them participate in our programs. We understand the financial challenges girls face in Afghanistan and how difficult it can be to access reliable internet. That's why we're proud to offer this financial support.

Please note: EmpowerHer does not send funds through “Hawala” or any platform that allows cash withdrawal. Instead, we provide internet credit through the Ding application, which lets students activate any internet bundles they need. Also, Ding and our system do not support Salam SIM cards, so please do not include Salam numbers in your MIS or workshop registration forms.
